Since I am in a hurry today I found this quickly.
Working a little these days as a caregiver.
Alan's theme was "Time Goes By"
This floral clock was erected in Frankfort Kentucky, our capitol, in 1962.
Found this on the State Public Information site.
The colors change during the year as the appropriate flowers are planted for each season.
It is quite an impressive sight in color.

The picture must have been taken around Christmas. Otherwise I am at a loss what the word NOEL means underneath the clock.
I think I have a postcard of that clock.
I love the idea of a floral clock, especially when the flowers are changed with the season.
Lovely photo!
It is beautiful!

How beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
I love these floral clocks Peggy. If this was in colour I'm guessing it would be red, white and green if the NOEL is referring to Christmas.
This is so amazing! Right here in the United States!
I haven't seen a floral clock for years. What a great idea to change the plants as the seasons changed.
Hello Dear One!
This with the changing colors would be a treat to get to see and to enjoy through the year.
Lovely,

I love the idea of floral clocks. Must be quite a job to maintain though.
We have a floral clock in Edinburgh too, but I had forgotten all about it until I saw your photo :-) Jo
