Since switching over to streaming with Netflix I have found myself addicted to The Tudors.
I am a lover of history and although there are several non historical situations, I am having a great time looking for names I remember from the history.
The costumes in this series are magnificent although Jonathan Rhys Meyers does not look like what Henry Vll must have looked like.
Although Henry wanted to have his marriage annulled to Catherine of Aragon and was driven to favor the reformation as it moved along for his selfish desires, he deep down remained a Roman Catholic at heart.
The way things are going in the Catholic Church there may just be another reformation.
I have to admit some changes are badly needed.

I didn't like that series but have liked others and read novels set in that period. I recently reviewed one over at my place.
