Thursday is a day to spread the joy and visit with tea friends.

Share the Joy Thursday

Working in my yard this week has been so nice.
Yes the allergies have been bad.
I just wore a mask over my mouth and nose.

I have photographed all the things new for the spring so went back to look for some archive photos that made me smile and stirred that feeling of
Joy.

Found this shot of Finch's on the front drive.
We have Finch's now but they have not gotten their yellow color yet.

Be content with what you have, rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.
Lao Tzu

Having.............hot chocolate in my Doc Martin mug.

Feeling...........very upset about some social situations going on in our country.

Thinking.........I know that you can't put a lot of confidence in what you read in the newspapers or on the TV but there is no doubt in my mind the amount of injustice is a reality.
Some folks are becoming paranoid and it is so easy for encounters to get out of hand.

I will pray longer and louder.

"God shapes the world by prayer.
The more praying there is in the world the better the
world will be, the mightier the forces against evil."
E.M. Bounds

Hot chocolate sounds good! I share your concerns about the hyper-reactivity I see, the shoot first and ask the right questions too late mentality. When will we see each other's humanity?

Love the quote! So true... we definitely need to be praying. Our country needs it so desperately.

The picture of the finches is great - they are so cheery with their yellow feathers.

Visiting you late for Tea Talk. I know what you mean about social injustice. Sometimes little ol' me feels powerless, but I know that the Lord is in control, and I must still follow him.

Hope you have a blessed weekend!

The finch photo is precious.
And your words are spoken like we are
sitting across the table from each other
sharing some coffee or tea :)
I feel right at home.
