Friday Shoot my Town-theme-doors

Friday Shoot My Town
Theme
Front Doors.

Well the rain sort of limited my time shooting because I had some doozies in mind but could not get to them.
Some of these are from my archives.

Lets go out my front door to look for more front doors.

Through the trees.

Plain Air day in town.

A garden door in the alley way.

Not a photo but a pen and ink our son did of one of the restaurants in town.

 French Style

A very old door.

Part of the scenery on the Stephen Foster Drama Stage.

The McDowell Home
Where Jennie with the light brown hair lived.

The front door to the Hutchin's horse barn.
Neat and clean hum?

These are all around my neighborhood.

Go here for Friday Shoot out entries

You found some lovely front doors, QMM, but I like your own front door best!

beautiful glass door, but I am always weary, in one house we stayed, some idiot shot a pellet and shatter our front door.

Your old door looks like my old door.

You have such a nice variety of doors. Of course I like the drawing by your son and the blue door and barn door, too.

The door leading to the garden is great, a secret door inviting you to discover what's beyond.

I adore the secret garden doorway in the alley, it's just sooo tantalizing. Now I need to know what's behind it... on second thoughts it's best to imagine and dream.

What a collection!! I'm glad it rained. I think FMHTSO is a good incentive to keep shooting weekly but I also believe the archive is always fair game. If you think about it, the moment you download a photo, it is in the archive. But these are beautiful -- alley door, drawing, man painting, barn...you will give me a challenge all by yourself at spotlight time.

My Precious Queen Mother Maw Maw,
I am sooo very BLESSED that you stopped by to visit today.
I pray for you every night and although I do not visit how I should, you are always on my mind.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE DOORS. Your door is gorgeous...I would pick that one also.
My favorite door is that blue garden door...it would make beautiful note cards.
I adore the old door with the arches...is that a church door?
CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING WTA LOTTERY. I pray blessings continue to chase you down.
hugs
love

I was wondering what you wanted that picture for. I can't believe I still have it after all these years, 33 to be exact. Does that make it an antique?

I would walk through that inviting blue garden door. Yes, I would.

Amazing doors. I think the quality of your photography has improved so much since I first started visiting your blog. You just keep getting better and better. You have a good eye. I really love the garden alley door. I agree with what Ginger said about it. I also like your front door, the door through the trees and I love, love, love your son's artwork. Very cool. Great post.
