The magic of light

I was having a hard time deciding what to blog about tonight when I went to Deanna's blog to read her's for today.

Have been so enjoying her and her family updating their home and just loved her photo of her new porch lights.
Well I have to apologize for taking my idea from her.
I decided to go out into the cold night air to shoot some shots of our porch lights.

This is on our front porch.
They are motion sensitive which I just love.
Look at the purple color around this light.

This is on the back door.
Light spots again around this one.

Would you believe I did not realize these two lamps are different.

I just took it for granted they were alike.

Well Danna your post today made me take a closer look at something right under my nose.

How often do we do that.

Just take for granted things that we live with and don't even notice.
Makes me want to be more observant.
Pop over and see Deanna's beautiful new porch lights.
Tell her you saw her light shining.

So nice that someone inspired you to look at your own things a little differently. Such pretty lamps and you took two great photos. Love the colors around them.

Enjoyed your jewellery post yesterday! Beautiful!

Hi Peggy. I just had to come by and say howdy! Seeing your lights shining drew me to your place. So glad you left the light on for us.

Grins and thank you for mentioning Home Haven. I needed a boost tonight and you gave me one.
God bless,
d

None of my outside lights match either. What a good idea for a photo...okay, off to visit your friend.

It's so weird how we don't actually see the things that we see every day. I have no clue what's in my house. :)

I love the "Glamour Shot"! I have one too but would never have the nerve to show it on here! Mine make me giggle with embarassment and laugh out loud at the whole idea!!!
