Friday Shoot My Town - Theme Arms and legs.

FSO
Theme
This week is
Arms and Legs

Inanimate

Joseph the Worker
Forever cast in stone.

Shedding a little light on the subject.

A big arm digging a big hole.

Local leg of the County Library System

Animate

Arms and legs in motion...barely.

Legs all around my neighborhood

Now, aren't they the cutest legs.

I know, this came out of my archives. I did take this photo and I didn't take this photo.
It was taken in my town 40 years ago.
The picture could never in this day and age be taken the way it was then.
The girl on the right is my late sister at our Mardi Gras, our annual high school just before Lent, dancing with her date. I took that photo.
The girl on the left is myself dancing with my date.
My late sister took that photo.

This photo is one of my most prized possessions.
It sits on my computer desk at all times.
I only had one sister.
She died at age 32 when I was 34 as many who follow my blog know.
Forever in death as in life, arm in arm.

Double exposure, not possible today.

Your sister is absolutely beautiful.
She left too soon.
What a beautiful memory you have of her, dancing.

Thank you for sharing

Thank goodness for this double exposure; it is quite a prize for you. I'm so glad that you have it.

I like the photo of the statue's arm, and I really like those horse's legs, too. Great job!

Good selection of photo, I love especially of the mechanical arm digging a hole. Come take a look at some of my non-human arms and legs.

Love the last two! :)
Double exposure... Brings up an old summer holiday memory for me, my dad stepping into a dark closet to change the film in the camera, and somehow managed to put the same film back in, so he got a whole film of double exposures...

Double exposures sometimes produced the most interesting photos. Your photo was meant to be and it touches my heart that you keep it nearby at all times.

The photo of your sister is my favorite of the lot. I cherish old family photos as well, and they remind me of all of the great people in my life.
