Day 2 of Visions of Mary and Haiku my heart Friday and Tootsie Time.

My Mary for day 2 of Rebecca's 12 days of Mary is this one of Mary as the young mother of Jesus.

I did it on a card with acrylics for our Christmas card.

The frosty edge was done with Picnik.com

Haiku my heart.

Woman, Mother
Inspiring, Loving
Strength, Love

We always send religious cards at Christmas time.
I do not care for commercial cards.

Go here for more Maryness.

Fertilizer Friday with Tootsie

Nothing like Tootsie's flowers to brighten up your winter or to inspire you if it is summer at your place.

These are still alive around my neck of the woods.

Lots of berries for sure.

These will end up decorating my house inside soon.

Go here to visit Tootsie and show us your living plants, indoors or out.

My last Button ornament arrived today from Jessica.

A darling little snowman made out of buttons.
Love it.

What a cute little button snowman.

I like scenes of home on my Christmas card with a pertinent scripture. Different things float our boats, eh?

Have a great day.

I came for the Virgin Business, but enjoyed all of your post. Your artwork for the card is exquisite. I totally love it. I use picnic as well, nice touch for a Christmas card.

Peace

I entirely agree with you, Peggy. I always keep the HOLYday spirit of the season alive with religious cards. Mine may be commercial but they always feature a creche and/or the Holy Family. Your card is beautiful. Your painting??? And you have to love, Picnik. I use it slavishly.
