Share the joy Thursday

Haven't felt well for a couple of days due to allergies but when I turn to write Joy meme on Thursday it takes my heart and mind in a different direction.
That is the beauty of daily meme's to me.
This beautiful lady is the last remaining member of my father's family.
She is his youngest sister.
She is 97 years old.
Had lived alone and took care of herself up to about 6 months ago she choose to go to a nursing home due to the loss of her eyesight.
She fell and is in the hospital.
Not a joyful thing.
My brother, myself and her only son will visit her today and I guarantee I will leave there full of joy.
She was always the strongest link to my estranged father and the rest of my father's family.
She has been a shining light in my life.
Aunt 'Matha' as she called herself.
Martha Rudd Riedel.

How wonderful that she still has joy to share - you are a joy yourself, even at this distance!

What a lovely post about a lovely woman. Even though she has lost her sight, sounds like she still have her mind.

Have a wonderful visit.

I am sure you will bring a huge amount of joy to her with your visit. Create and give joy freely -- it's a Divine gift.
