Friday Shoot Out- theme Your choice b&w or sepia

Friday Shoot Out

For my entry today I choose two shots spotlighting my HH and my favorite spots in our landscape.

This photo represents all the elements of what he likes to do to relax.

Cold Beer
Binoculars
Bird identification book
Notice he prefers the single chair to the swing so that he has a complete view of our back yard and the surrounding farm land.

Click on to eliminate sidebar and enhance detail.
My spot by the fishpond under the shade of the oak trees.
Gardening hat
Harry Potter book
Fresh cut flowers.

Yes these photos were staged and the seats are empty.
I had these two photos enlarged and framed for each of our children a couple of years ago.
There is an engraved plaque on the frame saying
Dad and Mom's Favorite Place.

I purposely did not photograph us in them so that there would be no age attached to the image of our favorite things, for posterity.

One of my favorite farms to shoot.

First time I have done it in sepia.

Great photos, but get that man a comfy chair.

AC that chair is actually the one he always chooses. That is Tom to a T.
Straight and stoic. No lounger for him.

What a beautiful serene spot. And the sepia is ethereal. Blessings xx

It looks like the perfect unwinding spot! And your choice of sepia in the last landscape was wonderful -- it adds an ageless feeling to the landscape and enhances it rather than detracting.

I like to recreate your first photo here in my garden. Had to ask hubby to look at the photo. Very beautiful!

I think if I put a beer garden sign up in my gardens my husband might appreciate them more! haha.

Love the bird watching set up - lots of thought went into it.

Oh, I love the his and hers in black and white. They are timeless and don't need people to tell the full story. Beautiful post!

That's a beer garden I could be comfortable in.

I like both of his and her favorite places. I would have to run back and forth between both of them!
