Doing my thing day

Doing my thing day.

Have not had much time or energy to be creative with all that has been going on.
Finally accumulated enough dark colored plarn to make myself a tote for fall.

Click on for greater detail

Love these colors.
Covered a ring and crocheted  a P for Peggy.

Beads where made out of paper.

Love these colors.

 ATCs for Sept.

From Sandie at

Love the painted paper towel that she added.

Kentucky Industries

The one I sent Sandie.

The first layer is a ripening leaf of Ky. tobacco.
Had no way to send a sample of Maker's Mark.
LoL

WooHoo

Just got my new diabetic shoes and I love them.
These are so cute and nothing like I had seen in years past.

They are made of a mesh material in the toe area allowing my sore toes to have room to accommodate for swelling, etc.

I can walk a lot better now.
Thank goodness for small favors.

Plarn? Is that plastic yarn? How do you gather it? Don't mind me, I just popped out from under a rock last week.

Vee I often find myself popping out from under a rock. My family and friends and neighbors give me all their plastic shopping bags.

Sorry your shoes have diabetes.

Even sorrier that I can't help being a wiseguy.

No, I'm not.

As part of the running shoe brigade although for different foot problems, however, I do offer you my sympathy -- or at least empathy.

I should start saving my colored plastic bags for you. I'm amazed by what you do with them--so creative!

Love that plarn tote. Great colors! And the ATCs you swapped are both lovely. My cousin needs walking shoes like that. She is diabetic and always has problems with her feet but needs to walk to lose weight. Glad to hear you are well. best wishes, Tammy
