Some answers, for me, from On The Record with Greta

I have refrained from making any comments about the Casey Anthony trial because I am sickened by the response of folks about the verdict and everyone trying to get their face on the tube and their voices heard.

I have served on a jury before, not a murder case and not a death penalty case, but until one does they have no right to say what they would do.
I consider myself of average intelligence and no way was I prepared for the job of serving on a jury.

I watched On The Record with Greta tonight and her guest was the foreman of the jury.
I hope everyone saw and heard what he had to say.

It answered a lot of questions for me and will be continued on Tuesday night at 10 CT.
I pray that folks will let this rest and stop all the mob mentality about the case.
Justice may not have been served, we will probably never know, but
the judicial system did it's job.

Resentment and revenge will not hurt Casey Anthony but it will hurt the one who holds it to their heart and soul.

Ephesians 4:31-32
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

I have never quite understood why complete strangers inject themselves in the lives of others and think they have any say. Or why the court allowed people to enter the courtroom turning it into a circus. Literally, everyone lined up acting like they were attending a fair rather than a very serious case. Why some cases get so much attention when others don't is beyond me. Things like this happen each and every day around the world. The sad part is everyone gets caught up in the theatrics and forgets about that precious little angel who is gone. Have a good day. Tammy

Well said...I too served on a jury and it is really hard work! My advise to those called to "serve" on a jury is to do it. Much too often prospective jurors look for way out! I say accept this privilege when offered! Have a grand day! Cathy

All I can say is AMEN to that Peggy! Justice will be done, maybe not here on earth, but God knows and will act - in His time, His place, and with His perfect justice!

Hey Peggy girl, So glad to be back amongst the blogger sisters. As for your post today. Ahem.......I was making myself sick over that dang verdict. I can obsess over anything and I had to do a good bend at the knee exercise and ask God to help me let this go. So I had my last say about it on Facebook and was true to my work. Nothing more from my lips and I have almost all the way let it go out of my mind. By the way........I am in love with your blog colors. Just a beautiful and easy on the eye background and header. Come visit. I'll be baaaaaaaaack. Love ya, Mollye

Well said, QMM! I watched that circus from up here and wondered why there was such questioning of the verdict.

well said. especially the part about resentment. I try and not pay attention to things like this that do not concern me and know very little about this case. I depend upon the justice system because that is what makes America great.
