Tea Talk

Tea Talk with Ruth

Having....... Aveda  Tea in my cardinal mug. This is a soothing caffeine free herbal infusion with licorice root and peppermint, calms your senses promoting a sense of well being.

Feeling.......like I had just traveled a long distance. Not much sleep last night due to the storms that seemed to last for several hours.

Thinking........What a devastation some of our states have suffered. We have had trees down and a few roofs damaged, but no injuries or loss of life. Some of the road construction that our SIL does has come to a halt that is not good for
 a business.

Very grateful it has been no worse.

At least the sun is shining this morning.

Go here for Tea Talk with Ruth and friends.

I love peppermint. Period. I carry peppermint oil in my nursing bag and sometimes leave a bowl of oil soaked cotton balls under the beds of my patients. The strong oil aroma helps disguise other odors and most find it soothing. Sometimes, before the funeral homes arrive, I put the oil in bath water and give my patients a last bath. I guess I'm a little weird. If there are insects in the home . . . I use clove oil under the bed to ward the little bugs off.

Oh, QMM, probably more than you wanted to know today. LOL

QMM, yes, the storms have been on our minds, too. We've been blessed to not have any severe weather here in Chicago, but our hearts go out to those who've lost so much.

Your tea sounds delicious and healthy, too. :)

Blessings on your day!

A break from the storms would be good for everyone about now. It sure has been an awful season and it's barely just begun. A bit of calm and peace is certainly needed. Hope today is a better one. Best wishes, Tammy

the storms this year have been so tragic. I keep the victims in my prayers and am thankful that we are having an uneventful season so far this year.

One of the nicest things about my visit to the hairdresser is a cup of Aveda tea.

Hello Peggy. I'm late in my visit rounds for Tea Talk but I'm just glad to have visited you again. I've heard news about the storms in many cities in the US. It's good to hear that it's not that bad in your area. Stay safe. I hope you have sunny days ahead and regain your strength.

Your tea sounds refreshing.

Blessings!
