Easter week-end was full of celebration, fear and fun and finally gratitude.
Saturday at one daughter's home
Good food simmering away.
The cooks, daughter Jennifer and son John, were calm they were busy cooking and talking and didn't see a thing.
Lucky for us.
The rest of the family huddled around the front door.
What was going on?
Looking pretty rough.
"Come here Mamaw, this would make a great color painting for you to make."
Grandson Ben.
The TV weatherman was just about pinpointing
us.
We were expecting baseball sized hail, according to the weatherman, this is what we got.
We were all ready to kneel down and say our prayers of thanksgiving after that was over.
Easter Sunday at another daughter's house.
Oh course great food and a lovely setting.
I love the romantic chandelier.
Gibby was the belle of the ball.
The girls had Easter ribbons and sweater for
Gibby.
He would not keep his sweater on.
QMM and granddog Gibby
Gibby is named by my daughter Rachel for her favorite character Gibbs on her favorite TV show.
The young ones are always smiling and joking and posing.
On Monday night I am typing this and it is thundering and lightening and pouring down rain again.
My creeky joints don't like it.

Holy smokes! Those storm pictures are amazing! Glad you're safe.
Sweet Peggy,
Enjoyed your post!
Thankful the weather calmed down and you didn't get the extra large hail.
God bless,

Oh my! So glad everyone is safe from the storms. Hope some calm has returned after the rains. Best wishes to all, Tammy
Was that an actual funnel in the one picture? Probably not as you might not have been calmly standing at the window and taking pictures.
Even with rain and hail it looks like a good Easter gathering was enjoyed.
I am so glad you are all safe. The weather has been so scary for Kentucky and Tennessee lately. Your family is beautiful and Gibby is adorable!
