Vintate Thingie Thursday with Tea Talk

Ya
Vintage Thingie Thursday

Through the mirror

These are vintage hand carved stools or tables.
These feature intricately hand carved carving along each leg. 3 legs enhinged can separate and fold away with underneath section of table having three nailed slots for legs to mount into. Center section of table tops feature a decorate floral inlay.
As so many of my vintage items, these were my mom's.
I have had them about 25 years and don't know how long she had them.

Tea Time Thursday with Ruth

A beautiful day for tea on the deck again with my favorite colbalt blue mug and fruit.

Having -Earl Gray with a little milk and sweetener.
Thinking about how nice it is to have our youngest daughter home with us again.
Feeling- Warmed by the spectacular sun shining on my deck and the sight of shadows of the tree limbs indicating the sun is out.

She has a great job in the city and was living in the city alone, which worried me to death and think she was a little antsy too.
She went to her sister's home for a while. Her sister has a ten year old son, and things did not work out there.
She asked if she could come here the same day I received the diagnosis of DM.
Maybe God's plan?
We don't know it is and we don't know it isn't according to
Dr. Wayne Dyer
So don't waste your time and energy on worry.

Change Your Thoughts
Change Your Life.

Just trust in God
It was a little rocky at first.
That old saying there is not room for two women in a kitchen.
We have all talked and HH and I feel pretty good about things now.
She is an adult.
There must be mutual respect, trust and privacy for all three of us.

Faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future.
It's  simply taking God at His Word and taking the next step.

Tea on the deck with your daughter in March. I don't think life can get much better than that.

I have a feeling your daughter is meant to be with you right now. I'm glad her presence brings you pleasure.

Incidentally, I'm drinking a cup of Earl Grey prepared in the same manner right now. I feel to sleepy to make it through the rest of my shift without a pick me up. My cup has Christmasy penguins on it--I hope it doesn't snow like the mug says it should!

It sounds like you have the recipe for life with your daughter back home - it sounds good for you and good for her too.

Your stools are beautiful, I just love the intricate carving and the way you have them displayed.

My mother in law used to have some of these. She said they were plant stands for pots of plants. I would not use them for that, because I would have been afraid that water would have ruined them~! Yours are really pretty. Happy VTT!

I'm sure it will be a joy at times to have her home as well.

I'm glad you are enjoying a bit of sunshine there. May you have more sunny days to enjoy tea time on your deck. I pray all things go even better for you now that your daughter is back with you.

Blessings!
