Mosaic Monday & Jingle Poetry Potluck Monday

Today is Mosaic Monday
The middle of March
Been looking at silk artificial flowers all winter.
Here they are on display.

Amaryllis on the hearth, Hydrangea in the entrance hall, Roses on the desk vying for room
with the books and knick knacks.

Peeping through the divider around my desk.

Sunflowers in my new Irish stein for St. Pat's day.
Hydrangea hanging over the storage wardrobe.

But now!!!!!

TA Da
Drum Roll.......

Our first fresh flower bouquet.
They are the tiniest little Daffodils.

Jingle Poetry's Potluck Monday

Nature's Spring Recital

I hear a distant engine humming to the tempo of a lazy day.

Putt Putt,putt, putt  --adagio

A neighbor's dog takes up the beat.
Arf, Arf, arf, arf

Putt,Putt, Arf, Arf,  -Allegro

The blue birds chime in with a
Chrip, Chrip

Putt, Putt, Arf, Art, Chirp, Chrip---Crescendo

Then It starts all over again
Putt, Putt, Arf, Arf, Chirp, Chirp.
I find my self tapping my toe to the rhythm.
Putt, putt, arf,arf, chirp, chirp.
Over and over again.
I stand and raise my arms in the maestro's stance.
I always dreamed of conducting an orchestra.

The Spring Recital has begun.

Coda.

I also love my silk flowers around the house all winter, but nothing beats the real thing. Love your daffodils, they are such sunny flowers.

Those daffodils are fantastic ... but I also loved your silk blooms. The roses on the desk are my favourites. Enjoy your springtime.
