Happy Valentine's Day 2011

Another beautiful Valentine's Day

Daylily blog with QMM wishes you and your honey a beautiful and love filled day.

It is also Mosaic Monday.
I bet there are hearts everywhere today.

Click on to enlarge for great detail.

The heart at the top is one I received from Francie by way of Mosaic Magpie Debbie's Heart Swap.
The one side is covered with pearls and the back side has ribbon embroidery on it.
It is hanging on the brass room divider near my desk in my bedroom.
The next heart was one sent by Debbie herself.
Can you believe this woman.
Taking care of her ill husband and making hearts for all of us.
Now that is a loving heart.
Thank you Debbie for your kind heart.
The last is my ATC for February for Courtney

There has been a lot of love and lovely sentiments passed around the blog neighborhood and it makes me feel very joyful and proud to have been part of it.

Here is the heart I made for the swap.
Amazing how similar it is to the one I received from
Francie

Debbie knew who to send what to whom, I guess.

How Quickly Things Change

This time of year I feel so weak
Just thinking about my man so sweet.
So many years and years ago he simply swept me off my feet.
Life went by and we had dreams and even more little feet.
These 50 years have passed so swift and there is nothing we would not repeat.
The good, the bad, the in between.
Now we don't even cook.
We just reheat.
Oh what fun.

I received this valentine book of poetry in 1961 from my new husband.
I have all 50 that he has gotten me and most of the ones I had for him.

Be in love forever.
