Friday Shoot Out

Friday Shoot Out
theme

Curly, Contorted, Wound spirally

I had fun with this.

This item is a city relic as you can see, it is very interesting, had to post both shots.
It is an antique fire hose.
It sets on display in the yard of one of the town financial offices.

Go here for more FSO

Thank you to everyone for all your encouragement and stories about that dreaded DM. I will surely make it fine with all the prayers that are going out and knowing that He is driving this bus, not me.

That a great key chain. You will never have to worry about losing your key. I always have to fumble my bag for my keg. I should go and buy one of your key chains.

You did have fun and it shows in these terrific shots for this Theme! The antique fire hose reel is great! Well done!

Perspective is everything. My first thought on your second photograph was that it was some kind of a handle on a piece of cleaning equipment until my eyes shocked themselves to realize it was looking up a stairway. Magnificent. By the way -- your eye for images has grown so much in the last year!

Wow QMM! I am impressed. You certainly conquered this theme as only a queen could do. Great job.

I love those antique fire hose, I think I've seen a similar one here, in the Civil Defence Heritage museum.

Your shots reflect how much fun you had with this topic. Amazing what you find when you open your eyes and 'see'. And you saw so much! I am so, so impressed!

My grandfather used to say "Don't just look, see what you're looking at." He was talking about water in the cattle water troughs but it's a lesson I should remember more often.
