It is Friday and FSO time.
Since I am older than dirt, I have had many collections. It got so I had no room for all my collections.
So I gave some away and focused on others.
Now there are a lot of places in my town to find collectables.
New shops
Consignment shops
Goodwell
Antique shops
M & M consignment on the spot shop.
In this shop you take your items in, the owner and you agree on a price. It is then hers and you get your money on the spot.
That shop is full to the brim.
But things are very neat and all items are grouped today.
Now that is what I like.
To go in and know where to go for my favorite collectible.
Cobalt Blue Glass.
These are new pieces I got this week.
I usually look for small pieces to add to my window sills, but I found these two mugs with birds on them and they are now my new tea mugs.
I just love these two wall vases.
Had never seen any of these before either.
Isn't this the cute thing. A tiny little oil lamp.
It works too, has a wick and holds oil.
I put it next to the cup to show how small it is.
This is my favorite place to shop.
This was one of my favorite pieces in the shop, but not on my list of collectibles or in my price range.
My collection of angels.
I gave away many of them but these were all gifts from special folks.

I like to collect quotes too.
“From the backstabbing co-worker to the meddling sister-in-law, you are in charge of how you react to the people and events in your life. You can either give negativity power over your life or you can choose happiness instead. Take control and choose to focus on what is important in your life. Those who cannot live fully often become destroyers of life.” — Anais Nin

I know exactly what it is to have too many collections and to need to downsize them; when I find the right person they get some stuff....today I did some but not all my teapots...inspired by your tea cozy last week..
I think you are so funny when you say you are older than dirt.
My favorite shade of blue! I love the glass in the kitchen windows. Very pretty.
Love your beautiful collections! I have a full display cabinet of glasswares- the crystal look-alike but they don't photographed well and I'm too lazy to set them up nicely .
The angels are fascinating -- all different and special. I have never seen cobalt blue wall vases either. It has been really intersting to see what everyone collects
FSO at the QMM corral is OK.
OMGosh, I love your Cobalt Blue Glassware Collection! I shop at all the places you mentioned, but have never heard of the concept 'On The Spot' buy/sell. I really like that! The owner must have a great cash flow!
The Blue Glass looks so neat in your windows, and Angel Collections are so special. I enjoyed seeing your collections...thanks for sharing them. Great Post and lovely photos!
Oh that blue glass looks lovely. I do like blue...
I love your antiques Beautiful!
I see that you have plenty of collection. The blue ones I started collecting and I have few of them now ^_^. Thanks for sharing!

I love cobalt blue. I made 20 little vases in that colour for my older daughter's wedding reception tables (at pottery class). Somehow I gave them all away and forgot to keep one for myself.
That tiny oil burner is lovely. I have a larger version that I burn citronella oil in to keep the mosquitoes away.
And I just love your angels, a reminder that they come in all shapes and sizes!
Thanks for sharing your collections!
I too, am a collector of quotes but I forgot about it until I read your blog. Cobalt blue is also my favorite color of blue. I love all of your pieces especially that little oil lamp. It is very cute. And who doesn't like angels? Great collection!
I also really like your new blog look. That art piece is wonderful.
