What a wonderful New Year's Day

Yesterday I received a call from my brother and he and his wife wanted to come down for the day, since we did not get to see them at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I was so excited to see them.
He was in a playful mood and when his wife told him to move closer to me to block out the sun from behind, he lifted his head and she shot the pic and then the battery was gone.

He asked me where I wanted to go for lunch and I said
"I would like a Frozen Margaritta for lunch."
His wife said, " I would love that too."
So we went to Chili's

I have always heard that the way you spend New Year's Day and how you feel that day will set the pace for the rest of the year.
We had a great day.
Gonna be a great year.

He is a great looking man, for some reason he wanted to look silly today.
He loves a silly day, so the rest of his days will be silly, I guess. Love both of them to death.

HH went somewhere with our son.

I think you can have more fun than ten people can trying. Yes you are going to have a wonderful new year. Like the header change.

Dear Queen Macaw,

We watch Dr Phil's show a bit behind you, and there was this woman who complained that she had to drive 800 miles to see her in law, her mum and her dad.

I didn't like her spirit nor did I like Robyn's reply. Christmas and holidays is a good time for family.

I am so happy you are excited to welcome your bro and wife.

Happy New Year.

Ann

What a handsome lady you are, dear QMM.

I am so glad that your 'little snit' is over and things have returned to sweetness and light.

May they remain that way for all of 2011.
Happy New Year, old girl.

I have a feeling that the UK on his jacket doesn't stand for United Kindgom. A college close to home just maybe? :)

I'm searching for that UK logo - the dog behind the letters looks rather fierce. Not one I recognise.

Happy New Year from England.

The UK logo on my brother's coat is University of Kentucky Wildcats. He is retired from University of Ky. and is a forever fan of the Wildcats.
I graduated from U of K. nursing program and I am a big fan too. He is into football and I am into the basketball.
