Friday Shoot Out- Unusual things in my town

This weeks theme is weird or strange things.
I have not spent much time in my town this week so pulled up some unusual shots I had in my archives.
We have to pass this place a couple of times a week.
It has been sitting here for almost 2 years.
Tied up in Insurance and possible charges of arson.
Creepy to me.
The neighborhood is all up in arms.

The back stairs at St. Joseph's Church.
Unusual looking house on my road.

Waterfall erected on the outside wall of one of the MD's in our town.
A beautiful statue of a horse at the same MD's office.
He is a horse lover and fan of the U of Kentucky Wildcats.

Go here for more Friday Shoot Outs.

You've found such interesting stuff. That second house looks like it's from a twisted version of Hansel and Gretel.

That home on your road looks like one of the geodesic domes that were popular in the 80's? ...Interesting photos...

The burnt house remind me that we have a fine, historic inn/restaurant sitting empty on our main street. Sad.

I really like your photo of the stairs in the back of the Church. It has a wierd supernatural feel to it and it's an overall impactful photo to me.

Your new background is very serene. Nice!

It's been fun to see the Weird Wonders everyone has shown. I agree with JarieLyn about the church photo...kind of weird place for such supernatural weirdness!

I've seen a house like that before...I wonder what it's like to live in something that shape?

I like your lily art at the top of your blog.

I have posted this house before. I do know the folks who built it and was in it when my daughter went to school with their daughter. The rooms are square and they do not come to the top of the roof. There is a ledge around all the rooms and actually it makes the whole house open directly under the roof. The couple who built it was an engineer. I don't understand the heating and cooling.

a horse at the dr. office is weird. I like the little round house. I think it is cute and it would be fun to live there.
