I like to have a meme for each day since it helps me keep up with which day of the week it is.
I keep my camera with me all the time and occasionally I end up with photos I haven't used so today is just some odds and ends photos.

As I was wrapping my family's gifts I ran out of ribbon.
I had gifts left for two grandsons. I looked around the room and noticed the wrapping paper I was using was foil and when I layed it down I noticed it rolled up into strange shapes.
I thought "think out of the box Peggy."
So I picked up the paper and started to lay it on the packages in geometrical shapes.
Boys might like that.
They don't care about bows.
This one ended up looking like a large envelope so I put an address label like from Santa.
A shot of a red bird through the kitchen window.
As I was leaving the building at Nazareth I caught this reflection of the stained glass over the door in the mirror hanging on the left wall.
Since trying to improve my photography skills I see potential shots everywhere.
When going for a shot of my poinsettia in one of the baskets I made, I noticed the reflection of my front door
in the glass of the framed Christening gown.
The strange shape is a wreath on the outside of the door.
Madonna and Child taking shape.
I mixed colors for this black, one of our last lessons.
Black, midnight blue, a touch of crimson, gave the background a deep purple look I liked.

I like the notion of thinking out of the box when you are wrapping a box.
Those are very creative idea and photos! I especially like the one of the Madonna - the way she is just coming into view. Great job!
Your painting is beautiful Peggy, absolutely lovely. I like your wrapping as well my friend...Hugs
I do like the idea of a collection of the images that just form part of your day.
A/C my grands are used to me doing unusual things. On two of the tags I wrote. "Open with Care. There must be an elf in this box, something keeps trying to get out." Lol One granddaughter's initials is ELF.
Alan- I will always have an alibi on my camera. LOL
Your Madonna and child painting would make a wonderful image for a Christmas card, Peggy! It's very beautiful!
I enjoyed my visit to your blog. Wishing you happiness, Katherine
P.S. I'm having a giveaway please stop by and enter :-)
