No regrets

What a wonderful feeling to come to the end of the year with no regrets and nothing left undone.
I had a little snit with a loved one and made my apology and heard nothing for several months, finally I did hear and all has been forgiven.
I had acknowledged what I had done hurt her and asked her forgiveness but only she could forgive back.
I prayed to accept that she might not and I dreaded the fact that the year might end without returning to our loving relationship.
God blessed me when she did contact me and extend her heart and her forgiveness to me.
I am most grateful today for the grace to forgive and the gift of forgiveness from another.
I pray that everyone be safe and happy as we bring this old year to an end and start tomorrow with a brand new slate.

Well done. Not everyone can humble themselves to ask, and not everyone can forgive.
