Oh the party has begun.
How wonderful everything looks.
Bach played the piano and we all sang along,
After a few teas laced with Maker's Mark my Tom Jones sang
When we were out and about this morning, we rain into this group who had heard about the tea and wanted to be part of it.
Hope Mr. Tea does not mind their crashing the party.
We brought this along for Mr. Tea.
One of Kentucky's famous names.
We decided that my dress and shoes were not me and Mr. Jones hates a tux so will the real
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jones please stand up.
We always win the Anniversary Dance Contest at every wedding. Not may folks married 50 years.
At our beautiful gd's wedding in May 2010.
On our way back to the states we are going to stop in
Whitchurch, Hamshire, England to visit the home of
our Brooke ancestors.
Richard and Elizabeth Twyne Brooke lived and raised their families at what was Parsonage Farms
This place is now called King's Lodge.
It was located right across from the church.
It was located right across from the church.
Robert Brooke immigrated to Maryland in 1602 and married Elizabeth Hatton from Maryland.
My 3 great grandmother Suzanne Brooke was from this family and married James Rudd and moved to Washington Co. Kentucky where I was born.
This little jount got me to digging around for the locations of my ancestors and although I had the names had never researched the locations of their birthplaces.
Great fun.
Thanks Mr. Tea and Toast for a wonderful holiday.
