Zenyatta, a Queen of a Horse

Kentucky is thoroughbred land.
We are used to seeing and hearing about amazing
horses.
But this one is on a fairyland story path.

I have fallen in love  with this piece of horseflesh.
She will run in the Breeder's Cup Saturday at
Churchill Downs.
19 wins out of 19 races.

Her name, Zenyatta, first caught my attention.
I love anything exotic sounding, so I started following her story.

When you see an athlete run like this, it can only make your heart sing.
Wow I wish I could go.
No tickets left to get in and I can't afford the kind of seat I need. LOL
Boy I will be glued to the TV on Saturday.
If she wins, she will be on my header by Sunday.

Go Girl.

I am grateful today that I am able to finally sit up for longer periods of time.
Went about my usual activities today.
WooHoo

Just a few days ago my Daughter sent me a vidio about Zenyatta, She is 17 hands high, with a white blaze on her face, can handle herself on the track with the bigboys. I wish everyone knew about her. Thanks yvonne

Rudee that is just what I thought about this horse, she looks like rich, dark chocolate. Just couldn't get it out. I been watching her short appearances on daily TV during her exercise period. My son has been right there at the track just drooling.

Thanks for drawing my attention to this wonderful horse. I just had to look her up. Love the story behind her name!

we just had the Melbourne cup. That is Australia but the New Zealands love it too, and almost all offices run a sweepstake. So when the race is on in Australia, the whole of New Zealand stop working.

Poor QMM

I didn't know you were poorly. Sorry you have been in pain and hope you will soon be all better.

And racing along with your favourite horse?
Well, maybe that's a bit too ambitious.

Have a contemplative Sunday.

When I was 12, a friend and I were going to write a book about horses. I still have it somewhere. I drew the front cover (a horse head) and even taped in some horse hairs on one of the pages. We used an old typewriter and would sit on her closet floor. Why the closet I have no idea. :) Hope you are feeling much better with PT and your TENS. Best wishes, Tammy
