....carpe diem. The Daylily. "Be like the flower, turn your face to the sun." Khalil Gibran. She gives her all for just one day then bows her head to God and fades away to nourish the next generation. God I pray I may give my all each day to honor you and bow my head at the end to nourish the next generation. Peggy Jones. NOTE............ The Blessings of The Lord's Day

“If the deepest ground of my being is love,
then in that very love and nowhere else will I find myself,
the world and my brother and sister in Christ.
It is not a question of either-or but of all-in-one.
It is not a matter of exclusivity and “purity”
but of wholeness, wholeheartedness, unity, …
which finds the same ground of love in everything.”
Thomas Merton (1915-1968)

May the greatest blessings of this day be known to all who reach for them.
They are ours for the taking.

Blessings are indeed ours for the taking...I think of that verse in the Deuteronomy that says, choose the blessing or the curse. Each day we choose by how we live. Thanks for giving me a reminder today to choose blessing.
