Sepia Saturday and Staying busy and ironing out sore muscles.

Ice on the ankle and stinky muscle ointments got me through this day today.
No pain pills needed.
Rest awhile, get up and move, rest again, had a luscious piece of cheese cake from two sweeties.
I firmly believe, after I decided there were no broken bones, that movement is the best way to recover from a fall.
I almost went to the ER this am early but decided to test the waters to see if I thought I needed to.
That is one thing that I hate more than anything.
The Emergency Room.
I guess being a nurse can be helpful. I know the signs of broken bones.
The main sign to look for ; does it stop hurting. LOL
Have sore arm, elbow, hip, knee, ankle and bruised ego.
Finished the 2 baskets I started yesterday and hopefully back to normal again.
Ankle wrapped for a few days, plus ice if swells again.
That is my dx and I am sticking to it.

Well this is no sepia but don't want you to miss all the great goings on over there, so
Go here for some real Sepia Saturday.
Besides I hate being left out, even though I could find nothing sepiatic.

Oh, ouch! I too spend a lot of time with ice and liniment and am sending lots of sympathy. Don't do too much too soon!

I hope you are back in dancing mode again, soon! Cheese cake from a sweetie will definitely help. Chocolate, too.

So sorry you've done yourself a misjustice, but hope it's soon feeling fine. :)

Oh my sympathy is with you. I once fell down my stairs and tore many of the ligaments in my right ankle. Such an unpleasant and lasting pain. I hope your recovery is quick.

All the best for a speedy recovery. Having slipped over last week on the stairs and a bit black and blue..I sympathise!

So sorry for your bruised ego, so happy the damage is minor. And the cartoon is hilarious and altogether too true, methinks.

Yup the RICE method still works! So glad you are able to take care of your bruises. Good thing we don't die from embarrassment! Trust you'll heal quickly and be right back in the swing of things!! Hugs!

Oh, poor you. I hope you feel better soon, but take it easy till you do (unless your nursing expertise suggests you do otherwise). Maybe the sweeties will bring you another piece of cheesecake. That should help! Take care.

Sorry for your injury, and glad it wasn't worse.

And... "sepiatic?" Priceless!
