Things are back to normal for our daughters family for the time being, so a graduation party for grandaughter and welcome home for grandson were finally held.
This was the first day brother and sister had gotten to see each other since his return.
Oh how they missed each other.
A wonderful cook out with family and friends was a great success.
Grandson lost about 25 pounds while in Peru with beautiful grand daughter looking healthy and tanned since starting her job as life guard at one of the Country Clubs in town.
Listened to stories of Peru from grandson who was so excited about his experience, despite picking up a stomach bug.
Several of the students did.

Old faithful, Blossom, has been with us 16 years.
GD named her when they first got her and as her brother says, a girly, girl name.
Well sure.
Proud dad sitting beside Blossom is glad to have every one home now.
But only for awhile.
Son will be a senior in college next year studying for a business degree and has already started his internship at an insurance co. and daughter will start Architecture school in the fall.
GD loved her afghan I made her and it matches perfectly with all the colors she chose for her dorm room.
Got one more grand to graduate from high school next year and she has already told me what color she wants.
Gives me plenty of time to geter done.
And Father's Day fun too

A beautiful family gathering and celebration. Have a wonderful day!
Great looking family. I know how happy you must be. The dog is happy too. Have you ever seen the movie Hatchi with Richard Gere, you would appreciate it.

What a wonderful and happy family. Life's greatest blessings.
Thanks for the comment.
I agree... yvonne
How wonderful to be together again. Too bad about the stomach bug as that's no fun at all, especially away from home. I'm sure he had an amazing experience despite that. My college boy will be a senior this coming Fall, too. And my HS graduate will be college bound this summer, starting as a freshman in August. My nest will then be empty.
Blossom is so very beautiful! How I miss my Toni dog who we got when I was 2 and she died when I was 17. She was a big part of my entire childhood.
The blanket you made is just gorgeous. And just so you know, I do not knit! Others were knitting when we gathered on Saturday but it's something I tried ad never got the hang of. I crochet and cross-stitch and doodle and papercraft --- I think that's more than enough. Ha!
Take care and have a great day!
Tammy
