Hello folks, thanks for sharing.
I had been considering painting on glass, such as candle holders, wineglasses, etc. but decided while waiting to get my glass paints to try something else.
One candle in a plain glass vase.
Two pages of scrapebooking paper
One with blues and pinks
One embrossed with gold and green
One piece of wide lace with pink and light green ribbon interlaced.
Wrapped around the candle holder and secured with a tiny piece of tape.

This way I can change the outside anytime.
Even the ribbons can be changed if desired.
Go here to visit Kathe and more great ideas.
Rain and sleet again, hope the sun shines soon.
Keep smiling
Happy Birthday dear brother.
You are my favorite brother.

Peggy, those look so much like Easter. My daffodil's have green shoots and I picked some forthisia
branches, put in water and forced them, same with apple branches. Hope I have blooms for Easter. Renee just left in a wintery blast, the snow is blowing heavy and wet. Bad for driving. She promised me she would call when she gets there. Stay warm.
you will like glass painting.
I painted my old jalousie door in florida. Ordered plate glass and took out the jalousie frame. I did a stain glass of calla lily's.
Peggy, those candles look great for
Easter. You will love glass painting. You can buy simulated Lead and do stain glass look also. yvonne
What a lovely vase! Or candle, whichever. So clever to be able to change up the outside deco!
Is he your only brother? :D. That is a good idea...a nice easy way to spruce something up or change it around.
Yes he is my only brother and my only sister passed away over 30 years ago.
