This photo will not win any awards but the
JOY
of
watching
the
birds, especially the
cardinals, is our goal here.
They are such a beautiful bird and when it snows they appear even more beautiful.
That is because they show up so bright against the white snow, or in this case, against the neckedness of the tree branches.
Thank goodness I see JOY in such simple things or
I would have cabin fever.
Go here to share some more joy at Meri's place.
Go here to see some great bird paintings.
This is what I am working on now but it does not get posted until our class is finished.
This class finished before we did.

A cardinal! You've given me such a treat, Peggy. I love these colorful songsters and we don't have them on the west coast.
I know what you mean... It has turned out to be such a lovely day temp and sunwise that I'd go walking if I weren't likely to be beaned by a falling tree limb it's so windy. I do not think I have seen a cardinal in five years. Are they the ones that like oranges?
Wow! What a joy, snow and the Red Cardinal bird, nearest thing we get is the Robin! Still he is a cheeky chappie! x
The cardinals sure do brighten things up during these wintry days. Thanks for the link.
