Everything is ready to go for today's picnic on the SCN Nazareth Campus.
Booths and stands stand ready to be filled with fun things to help raise money for all the ministries of the
Sister of Charity of Nazareth.
Village II all decorated and ready to welcome visitors to the campus.
Some of the Villagers enjoying the sunny weather.
Stop and say hello to Tom and Gracie.
Gotta go help get things started.
I thought I was going to have to bypass Sepia Saturday but as I was preparing my post about the picnic I am involved in at Nazareth, I came across this old photo of The Auditorium and Library building at the old Nazareth College.
This is the building show above that was converted to the Village II complex that is there today.
No changes outside but many inside.
I could not find the date of the erection of this building but it was added a few years after the initial building erected in 1817.
No building ever stands vacant very long on this campus.
SCN always respond to the needs of the community whatever they may be.
Once the college closed in the early 1970's immediate plans were underway to utilize these building for a retirement center.
As regulars to my blog know I am constantly using photos from this place and since I will be here most of the day it is perfect for SS.

Tom and Gracie...what a darling couple...can't wait to meet them.
And an elegant looking building it is/was...
Give our regards to Tom and Gracie.
It all looks like the calm before a storm of people. I hope the day was a great success.
There is a wonderful solidity about the building (sadly the same cannot be said of Tom and Gracie)
Looks like the beginning of a wonderful day! Hope all went well! Tom and Gracie!!! Cute! Cathy
That’s a very handsome building....but I have my doubts about Tom and Gracie :)
Poor Gracie, her feet don't even touch the ground!
Tom Cruise then, I suppose.
Tom and Gracie., are they real?
