Friday Shoot Out
Theme
Fresh, new, pure
First bloom
This is a tropical plant.
Desert Rose
and
does not bloom until very hot weather.
It will only continue to flourish as the heat goes on.
Not many do that here.
I keep it inside during the winter, of course.
Just came across this today.
Amazing

Our Stargazer lilies just bloomed today.
Beautiful, Peggy. Mine are dead from the heatwave.
Happy PS weekend ~

Beautiful, I choose some fresh flowers too.
Nice to know of a plant that thrives in the heat. :)
Never mind what I said before. I just realized I can copy from this post so am doing that now. Have a great day. Tammy
Love, love, love the fibre art! So fresh and crisp - it could well be titled Purity. I think that's a fabulous selection for the topic!
We call this flower "kalachuchi" in the Philippines and we make it a garland for the graduates. This smells so sweet. And yes this blooms in Summer when it's too hot. This can become a tree too. Thanks for sharing!

Well, nothing says fresh and pure like a brand new little flower bud! Lovely!
I recognize that plant and the fiber art is so neat. It reminds me of the handmade tapestries of long ago.
I grew the desert Rose in Singapore, I was told to give the poor plant a good trim, cut off all the branches near to the stem, the next season, you get lots of blooms.
I was reluctant at first, and experimented with one plant it worked.
The fabric art is incredible.
A beautiful plant..I don't have the sought after GREEN THUMB so most of my plants are easy growers.:))
Inside, all I have is ivy.:(
I love that fabric art! I like to crochet lace and I think I see some in there - it's beautiful!!
Really like that fiber art. Very unique.
Gorgeous plant!!! It would do well here then!! It is between 100 - 115!!! It has been a heat wave, no rain. Hopefully we will get rain!!!!
Thank you for your sweet advice about my chair! I don't know what to do!! But, like you said, I'll think of something!!!

The Dessert Rose is commonly found here, especially in Chinese homes. Since the weather here is always hot, they bloom all year long. Our average weather here is around 87degrees and it's so humid.
both great fresh shots. good to know of something thriving in this heat! love the fabric art.
