Adventure Express with
Cathy is a fun may to share your adventures whether they are recent or in the past.
Past adventures are so filled with good memories and since I don't travel anymore I decided to share a few thoughts about a trip to
Bermuda a few years ago.

One of the most fun excursions we had was riding out to the coral reef in a glass bottom boat.
We boarded the boat directly below our resort wharf.
Our lodge was located near where the cruise ships docked and not far from the Bermuda airport.
One plane a day into the airport and one out.
You could set your watch by the planes coming and going.

I took me a little while to fight my seasickness on this trip but I kept fighting and finally got it under control and thoroughly enjoyed the excursion.
It was unbelievable. The beauty of the under the sea life is amazing. One of the many things Bermuda is noted for.
Another adventure more in my life style these days is my painting and stitchery.
The above picture was converted by my friend on an app on her iPhone to a watercolor like rendering of one of my photos along the ride to the observation of the coral reef.
I am doing a 16 x 20 watercolor of this photo for the daughter who went with me.
Doing my thing day.
On Wednesday I usually post about some of the things I have done this week.
Of course still working on items for the summer picnic craft booth.

Peanut butter and chocolate tote.
It does not show well in this photo but the plarn I used to trim around the handle is an old Kroger bag the color of peanut butter.
The new bags are more milk chocolate colored.
These totes are lined with a Kroger shopping bag and can be used for groceries.

Some ATC cards I did for July on the theme
Circus Fun.
Also made some pickled beets with fresh beets grown by our son.
Since I am diabetic made these with Splenda.
They are delicious.

I can't wait to see that painting come to life.
Those beets look delicious!
It's great to have memories of past excursions, be they far away or close by.
Bermuda is a wonderful place to visit and beautiful as well. The beets are making me hungry!

Hello Peggy!
A ride on a glass bottom boat must be so interesting.
I love beets and wish I could grow enough to can as you did.
You are just forever amazing with all the things you do and have done. Love pickled beets, can still remember the ones my maternal grandmother made.
